Chemicals feature prominently in the list of traditional wedding anniversary gifts. In fact, if you look at the conventional list you will find nothing that is not made entirely of chemicals. Paper? Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen! Cotton? Pretty much the same! Iron? Well, that's made of iron! Lace? See cotton! Nevertheless. the wedding gift list is still not quite to my chemical taste. So, I decided to create an alternative for all the alchemists, chemists, and chymists out there who are thinking of celebrating a wedding anniversary.
UPDATE: 27th August 2014 -
British couple, Helen (101 years old) and Mauric (102) Kaye, celebrated
their 80th wedding anniversary today. They spent their working lives
together, had four children although lost one in infancy. They have six
great grandchildren.
If you're looking for our list of unusual chemical wedding gifts, simply choose what I've labelled the 200th wedding anniversary present - chymical. For an even more bizarre wedding anniversary gifts list, check out this page.
